What is the easiest way to save a chart so that we can use it in another document?
Just click on the chart you want to copy and use Ctrl + C to copy then select the other chart. In the end, use the shortcut key Alt + E + S to paste/apply the formatting.
Save a chart as a picture

Select the chart in your Word document by clicking on it to activate the “Chart Tools” tab.
Click on the “Copy” button in the “Clipboard” group on the “Home” tab (or use the shortcut “Ctrl + C”) to copy the chart to the clipboard.
Open the other document where you want to use the chart.
Paste the chart into the new document by clicking on the “Paste” button in the “Clipboard” group on the “Home” tab (or use the shortcut “Ctrl + V”).
