- Open PowerPoint and navigate to the slide where you want to work with the text box.
- Click on the “Insert” tab in the ribbon at the top of the PowerPoint window.
- In the “Text” section of the ribbon, click on the “Text Box” button. This will insert a text box onto the slide.
- Click inside the text box to activate it. You should see a cursor blinking inside the box.
- To change the text direction, go to the “Format” tab in the ribbon.
- In the “Text Direction” section of the ribbon, you will find options to change the text direction. There are options for vertical, horizontal, and stacked text.
