Click the first cell and press Shift while you click the last cell in the range you want to merge. Important: Make sure only one of the cells in the range has data. Click Home > Merge & Center. Choose the cell where you wish the combined data to go.
Enter = and choose the first cell to merge.
Enter & and a space between the quotation marks.
Choose the next cell to merge and click enter. As an example, consider the formula =A2&” “&B2.
