Live Presentation feature is announced by Microsoft that is available only for PowerPoint on the web. Presenter can add the audience by just sharing a direct link to them. It will show your presentation in real-time to the audience from a browser.
Steps to get start Live presentation:
- Navigate to the Slide Show tab, where you will get the online presentation option.
- Click on the Present Online option here.
- This will lead to the Online Office Presentation Service.
- Click on CONNECT button on this popup window.
- Sign in to your Microsoft Office account with your registered Email ID and password.
- Start presenting your presentation to the global audience by sharing its link.
Present with PowerPoint Live Presentations
- In PowerPoint for the web, select the Present drop-down arrow.
- Select Present Live. A welcome screen appears where the participants can join with a secure link or QR code using their mobile devices, for example.
- When you’re ready to start your presentation, select Show slides.
- Open your PowerPoint presentation and ensure you have a stable internet connection.
- Click on the “Slide Show” tab in the menu bar.
- Select “Present Live” or “Start Slide Show” from the options. This may vary depending on the PowerPoint version you are using.
- Choose whether to present from the beginning or a specific slide, and select the desired screen or monitor to display the presentation.
- Share the presentation link with your audience, allowing them to join and view the live presentation remotely.
PowerPoint 3.0, which was shipped in 1992 for both Windows and Mac, added live video for projectors and monitors, with the result that PowerPoint was thereafter used for delivering presentations as well as for preparing them.
