I want to add a decorative drop cap at the beginning of a paragraph in my Word document. How can I do this?
Select the first character of a paragraph. Go to INSERT > Drop Cap. Select the drop cap option you want that you want to and create a drop cap that fits within your paragraph then select Dropped. To create a drop cap that is in the margin, outside of your paragraph, select In margin.

Select the first character of the content or paragraph and go to insert and click drop cap and select the drop cap option you want.
Firstly Choose the first character in each paragraph then Select INSERT > Drop Cap.
Choose the desired drop cap option and Select Dropped to make a drop cap that fits within your paragraph. Select In margin to generate a drop cap that is outside of your text.
Ctrl+0, to quickly revert to the default “Text Body” style without drop caps.
