Currency (), music (), or tick marks () are examples of symbols.
Put your cursor in the file where you wish to place the symbol.
Select Insert > Symbol.
Choose a symbol or More Symbols.
Scroll up or down to locate the symbol you wish to insert.
When you’ve found the symbol you’re looking for, double-click it.
