- Click the Design tab in the Table Tools ribbon group.
- Click the Border Styles list arrow.
- Select a border style.
- Click the Borders list arrow.
- Select the borders you want to add.

Choose a cell, numerous cells, or the entire table.
In the Table Tools ribbon group, select the Design tab.
Click the arrow in the Border Styles list.
Choose a border style.
Select the Borders list by clicking the arrow.
Choose the borders you want to use.
