A motion path is used to move things on a slide in a very specific way. Motion routes can also be combined with other effects. Select the item to which you wish to create a motion route by clicking it. The object or text’s center follows the motion route you apply.

A motion path is a method of moving objects on a slide. PowerPoint allows its users to add motion to an object in the slide. You can add motion to an object from the Animation tab by selecting an object.
