I have a large worksheet in Excel and I want to freeze certain rows or columns so they remain visible while scrolling. What is the process for freezing panes in Excel?

open the excel workbook that you want to freeze panes on. click on the cell below and to the right of the rows and columns you want to freeze. lick on the view tab on the ribbon. click the freeze panes in the window. select freeze panes rom the dropdown menu. The rows and columns above and to the left of the active cell will be frozen in the place.
