Is this Windows Phone App statistics Real ?

When i logged in to my AppHub account, I was surprised or rather shocked to see something in my AppHub Dashboard.

It was the number of downloads for the Apps that i submitted to the Windows Phone Marketplace.

I had submitted 3 Apps (My Phone Info, Home Loan EMI Calculator, and Number Converter for WP7) until now to the Windows Phone Marketplace and now see the sudden rise in the number of downloads of the App.

The App Highlights in the Dashboard shows the following

Is this Windows Phone App statistics Real or something wrong?

Here’s another screenshot of the total downloads of the Apps until now.

All three Apps were really simple one and the simplest one of these was “My Phone Info” that displays the Phone Info like Name of the device, Memory etc…

Not sure how it got so many downloads within a span of 3 weeks but the downloads somehow convince me that however small the App is, there are users to use them…

This gives me more confidence that there is definitely an increased interest in the Windows Phone among users and provides more confidence for the small developers like me that the Apps developed could get more downloads 🙂
