Candidates alternatively can have educational background in sciences as Physicist, Chemist etc.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate should be self-starter and can work with minimal guidance and know how to navigate cross-functionally. They demonstrate a system-thinking approach to their assignments and can synthesize information to take effective action. They can apply their fundamental theories, principles, and concepts to solve real-world problems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collect data, analyze, and compile reports on basic process engineering experiments, within safety guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Perform hardware characterization on basic systems, within safety guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot basic problems, perform Root Cause Analysis, and resolve basic process engineering issues<\/li>\n<li>Measure film properties and organize data\/reports for review<\/li>\n<li>Generate internal documentation for products, presentations, and technical reports<\/li>\n<li>Interact with customers to resolve basic process engineering issues\/problems under direct supervision<br \/>\nWork with engineers, vendors, and suppliers, under direct supervision<\/li>\n<li>Become familiar with the process of implementing new technology, products, and analytical instrumentation<\/li>\n<li>Work on system engineering projects that have a substantial mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms and software design utilizing expertise in technical area of specialty.<\/li>\n<li>Perform tests and provide feedback to product engineering and software on new designs and ongoing engineering improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Problem identification and troubleshooting engineering problems in field of technical expertise, including serviceability and manufacturability.<\/li>\n<li>Work with System Integration during the assembly and final testing of all products.<\/li>\n<li>Review all external equipment interfaces, analyze architecture ideas, and insure they are up to date and documented.<\/li>\n<li>Interface with other groups on issues, ranging from Facility, HW, SW, C&amp;F, Service to Business Value End to End.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Functional Knowledge<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a discipline<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Business Expertise<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or experience<\/li>\n<li>Recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Leadership<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Individual contributor; accountable for developing technical contribution<\/li>\n<li>Ability to influence others independent of level and function, including external partners.<\/li>\n<li>Strong decision-making skills and record of good judgments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Problem Solving<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments<\/li>\n<li>Thinks strategically to solve problems and resolve issues to manage speed of execution.<\/li>\n<li>Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Impact<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Has limited impact on own work team; works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives; work is guided by mindset of innovation and commercialization of product ideas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interpersonal Skills<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding<\/li>\n<li>Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Education:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Undergraduate and\/or master\u2019s degree in material science &amp; engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering (specialization in VLSI\/chip design), metallurgy or mechanical engineering with specialization in material science.
