JOB PURPOSE:<\/p>\n
The Software Engineer contributes to development and deployment of Caterpillar\u2019s state-of-the-art digital application.<\/p>\n

\uf0a7 Work independently in a platform or application team on programming and development assignments in cloud or Proof of concept on innovative ideas and\/or technologies<\/p>\n
\uf0a7 Learn new technology or tool and apply it to improve engineering process<\/p>\n
\uf0a7 Contribute to platform or application development\/test\/support<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\uf0a7 Position requires a four-year degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.<\/p>\n
\uf0a7 Must demonstrate solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms<\/p>\n
\uf0a7 Must be able to program in one of the languages Java\/J2EE<\/p>\n
\uf0a7 Must have good UI skills<\/p>\n
\uf0a7 Must be able to use relational and No-SQL databases<\/p>\n
\uf0a7 Passion for technology and an eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment<\/p>\n
\uf0a7 Must have good communication skills and must be a quick learner<\/p>\n

Nice To Have<\/p>\n
\uf0a7 good knowledge on Data Engineering, Data warehousing and Big Data concepts<\/p>\n
